The main objective of All India IIHT Federation established are:

>> The Alumni of IIHT aims to connect the Institute students to their alma mater. It provides a platform for the IIHT fraternity to participate in professional and social interactions, and promote the overall development of its stakeholders.

>> Coordination of alumni meets for All India including States, Capital Regions, Districts, Talukas, Tehsils, Batch, and Institute, Clusters and chapters etc.

>> To foster an everlasting relationship between the Institute and its Alumni

>> To facilitate networking among faculty, students, and alumni of all batches in all the Institutes in India.

>> To establish and maintain contact among past students, present students and the teaching staff of all IIHT in India, and IIHT Alumni.

>> To provide a common platform for sharing of ideas or dissemination of information.

>> To keep the alumni informed about the latest happenings at the campus.

>> To provide career-related guidance to the alumni and students of the Institute.

>> To ensure the active involvement of alumni in the institutional development and growth activities

>> Nominate outstanding alumnus by tracing one's personal growth and success story

>> To exchange professional knowledge by means of technical conferences, seminars, workshops & training courses.

>> Providing financial support in the form of Merit cum Means Scholarships.

>> Awarding prizes to rank holding students.

>> Assisting in arranging campus interviews, placements and industrial training.

>> Maintaining a database of ex-students of all IIHT (Indian Institute of Handloom Technology) in India.

>> To offer expertise, effort and/ or financial resources to assist not-for-profit organizations dedicated to India's development, and thereby contribute to the well-being of society.

>> To promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction among the Alumni, Alma Mater, and society.

>> To encourage the Alumni to take abiding interest in the progress and development of the Alma Mater and society.

>> To undertake activities of nation building including those of charitable nature.

>> To generate a corpus funds for creating better residential /educational/recreational facilities for the community.

>> Sponsor an event / seminar / activity / laboratory / publication / award / venture

>> Contribute to some specific or general charitable cause under humanitarian activities

>> To render assistance to students of the institute through grants, scholarships and prizes and to provide assistance in academics, placement or any other area as appropriate.

>> To establish interaction with industry for the benefit of students.

>> To represent IIHT Alumni in various trade and industry association.

>> To publish and distribute various materials relating to Textile Industry and Indian Institute of Handloom Technology in India and its alumni.

>> To arrange and conduct meetings of the alumni.

>> To help the family of our member financially in case of sudden causality (at younger age) with consent from family by raising funds from the members. Executive team will decide on the amount to be given to such family.
